 We have had a number of projects done by Lopresti Contracting, large and small. The work was done on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Their crew was great to work with and we have referred them to friends and acquaintances a number of times. We actually are hiring them to do our next project this fall. I would highly recommend Lopresti Contracting. 

 I had seen several of Josh’s projects prior to our whole house renovation and was Particularly impressed by his carpentry design and execution. When it came to our house, we were on a very short timeline awaiting the birth of our second child and Josh did everything he could to make it happen, despite it being that record breaking winter of 2015. A “straight talker”, he guided our choices to allow us to stick to budget and made suggestions as to where it would be worthwhile to spend more. Always available with a quick answer to any of my questions, he remains a valued resource to this day. Perhaps most importantly, we were kept up to date about the project throughout and there was never a time we felt we couldn’t rely on him or his team. 

 We highly recommend LoPresti Contracting for quality of workmanship and cost based on two major projects they completed.

1. We had several windows and patio doors replaced as well as a new bay window to replace an upstairs sliding door onto a small balcony which was also removed. Afterwards we had all the old siding removed and replaced with cedar siding. The whole project was completed totally to our satisfaction and in a very timely manner. All the old materials were removed and everything left clean and neat.

2. In order to access our loft area we used to have to walk through the master bedroom. Josh altered and extended the landing so that we can now walk straight in making the loft much more accessible and useful. The work was carried out quickly, cleanly and exactly as we wanted.

In the spring of 2020 we were planning a move out of Massachusetts ... then the pandemic hit! Josh was an immense resource and helped us get our Acton house prepped for sale. 

He made recommendations and performed work in fixing and replacing dated items in our 1970’s colonial.  These changes helped us sell quickly with multiple bids for our property that sold for over asking price. 

Josh Lopresti essentially acted as the GC - putting me in touch with reliable subcontractors  including painters, flooring contactors, electricians and realtors.  

I was most impressed with his honesty and attention to detail. He found solutions to a few nagging problems and even uncovered a squirrel issue our roofers should have.

 I chose LoPresti Contracting when I was going to renovate a property I had purchased as an investment. At the time I was undecided as to whether I would quickly re-sell the property after renovation or whether I would use the property as a single family rental. During the renovation process, Josh offered advice and guidance in every decision I made. I didn’t always follow his advice and I asked him to do things that he disagreed with but I always knew Josh and I were working as a team; trying to find the most economical and sensible solutions. During the renovation we did the following: replaced the roof, replaced all the hollow core interior doors, installed a new ceiling throughout the house, gutted the one bath and added a new half bath in a former pantry, installed hardwood floors in the kitchen and had all the hardwood floors refinished, reconfigured the existing kitchen cabinetry so we could add a dishwasher, installed a quartz countertop and added a tiled backsplash, had the entire home rewired and added 200 amp service and a generator connection, painted the kitchen cabinets and changed the hardware, and had the entire interior painted. And there was even more but …we accomplished all this in less than 3 months under Josh’s nimble planning. I highly recommend LoPresti for any construction project you may have.  

I am very impressed with LoPresti Contracting and have hired their company for many  construction and renovation jobs. The owner Josh Lopresti is thorough, responsible, and operates with high integrity.

He provides quotes, he “stands by” to my company; and works well with his tradespeople. Josh has excellent trade skills and is very organized.

Josh provides the appropriate insurance to us, keeps to schedules, and provides timely permits and paperwork.

After 20 years of doing business with Josh, I am always impressed with what an excellent contractor and fabulous person that I find him to be.
